About Me

As a child, I was always interested in creating things - making models or building models. When I left school, it was only natural that I would go to art college to expand my skills and learn new ones. I chose to specialise in Graphic Design - a career that has served me well for more than twelve years.

As I grew older, with my own home and family, I developed a love of plants and realised that I could combine this new found passion with my art and design skills to become a garden designer. I studied Garden Design for a Diploma on a Distance Learning course with the respected KLC School of Design and graduated with honours.

I believe that my design background has given me a better understanding of shape, form and colour and how they can contrast or combine to achieve a great design. Having a good Graphic Design knowledge also means that you drawings and plans will be of the highest standards, clear and easy to understand.

As well as designing with plants, I also enjoy painting and photographing them. I will be including examples of these on the portfolio section of this site. All of the photos on this site have been taken by myself - either in my own garden, one of the gardens I have designed or at various flower shows or gardens around England.
